"Tara is absolutely fantastic! My husband and I bought our first home so we shopped over 5 insurance providers, including working with an insurance broker, and no one even came CLOSE to Tara. It was obvious she was the one from the second we started speaking. Since insurance is a sales-based industry, I expected people I called to try to win my business, give me competitive rates etc. It couldn't have been further from the truth! Some people didn't call me back, were rude, and none of them fully explained the policy, even though I told them we were new home owners. Tara took almost an hour out of her day to explain all the policy details line by line so I could understand what they meant and where there was wiggle room. We ended up bundling our car insurance under Tara and I gave her a goal monthly number I wanted to hit - she was able to get it to that number without compromising any coverage that was important for us. Since then, any time I have a question or concern, she is prompt and super helpful. I couldn't recommend her more! 2025 Update - many people who work in Tara's growing office are just as fantastic as she is. Melissa was in touch recently to help alleviate growing premium prices by offering smart solutions that made sense for our situation. I really value the time everyone at Tara's office takes to ensure our needs are met!"

"Had a very bad experience both with State Farm as a company, and also with this specific insurance broker. State Farm tried raising my insurance rate, with the same coverages, from about 280/month to 1,200. This was because of a DUI I had over the Summer. I was expecting an increase but that’s outrageous and predatory. When I called in to inform them I would be cancelling and I found a much better policy with Progressive (worked the coverages a bit but brought my payment down to 330/mo albeit with lower coverages, State Farm with lower coverages was coming back at 700/mo) I was spoken to by an extremely rude receptionist who kept blaming me for the increase, saying it was my fault repeatedly, refused my request to ask someone in Corporate State Farm to reconsider the rate increase (she played dumb by repeatedly saying there was no one to talk to, and the number given on the computer was it. I kept trying to tell her it was algorithm and surely there was a human to talk to) and then she resorted to a sleazy salesman tactic of trying to scare me into thinking Progressive was going to retroactively raise my premium because they weren’t aware of the DUI on my record… Except they were aware. I even called them after that phone call to remind them of my DUI and share my experience with a rude State Farm broker receptionist and they couldn’t believe what they were hearing. I’m well into my new policy with Progressive and couldn’t be happier. If you have a similar experience where a secretary/clerk here is being rude, please share your review. And if this broker tries any funny business with you like an outrages rate hike for exercising your right as a customer to file a claim, be sure to complain about them to Consumer Affairs Division - California Department of Insurance @1-800-927-4357. Hope this review helps!"
